WEEKLY BIG INTENTION FOCUS
…. with guided yoga pose instruction ~This week it’s all about being present; experiencing PRESENCE within each of our days.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the maze and madness of life, that we can often forget to take a moment or two to be still and feel 100% present with our body, soul, and spirit.

The following provides us the opportunity to take note of the importance of presence, for without it we can become lost and displaced in life; feeling disengaged within ourselves and becoming attached to a sense of not belonging anywhere at all.

Should you currently feel that your life could do with more meaning, purpose, and connection, to self, others, and nature, maybe it’s time to become aware of all the illusions around you.

Much of what we experience in our day is not necessarily for our greater good. Often we are just functioning from a place of expectation (from others), and not actually “living” for ourselves. This can eventually create absolute chaos in our minds and lives.

To slow down the madness and chaos, and minimise the effects of it all, it really does pay to take just a moment or two to sit with PRESENCE; to become present with just yourself and your body.

Not all that we do in good faith will nurture our aspirations, dreams, and goals, although we may at the time believe so. Not all actions and responses carry us forward and support our highest well-being and greatness.

Maybe it’s time, and maybe this is your reminder, to take stock of your life, and look at your priorities and values:Do you find life is having you run around in circles, chasing after everyone else with little time, regard, or care for yourself?What’s really important to you?If you have long been detached from your innate truth, your dreams and goals, and what really is important to you, etc., it’s fair to say that it is definitely time to consider a little time out for PRESENCE. You can allow yourself permission to make that appointment, that commitment with yourself, so why not do it now?

Oh yes, I know, circumstance, and others do have a tendency to sway us in directions more fitting for their agendas. When we allow external powers to “take charge” of our time and energy, we are also giving them permission to take any value or worth we “may’ have of ourselves.

We need to find and experience, an acceptable level of balance so we can hold onto our worth and value. We can do this by allowing time for PRESENCE. It is a way – the way – of providing ourselves with such a gift called life.

There’s a well-known saying …Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today (the present moment) is a gift.

Why not experience the gift of time, and breathe in a little PRESENCE, your body will thank you for it. It doesn’t have to be great lengthy moments at all, there are no BIG chunks that need to be booked into your schedule (if you have one that is), just a moment or two can make a huge difference in moving forward, creating a little ease within each moment.

Until next week, may you gift your body and spirit the grace of PRESENCE with love and gratitude, so you may live life with a sense of balance and connectedness. Harmonize with Body, Mind, and Spirit, knowing that you are a worthy and valuable, beautiful soul.
